    He plays stand up bass, or double bass as it is referred to over there, and has invented his own
    amazing portable stand up bass with built in pick up which he not only plays but manufactures for sale.

    Robbin Harris drummer,percussionist, composer Robbin is versatile and inventive with an impeccable sense of time as well as a great sense of humour. He is heavily influenced by many different styles: Jazz, HipHop, Reggae/Dub, Electronica, West African, Afro-Cuban and Indian. At nineteen he went on the road to play professionally: in New York City he was the house drummer for Twisted Pair Sound and Seventh Street Sound making a new recording Deep Down Records while there. Previously in 1998 he was an instructor at Visionaries College of Music St. Albert, and then did several Asian Tours with pop icons S.E.C., and R&B stylists Blackjax. His most recent trip to New York City led to his playing bass on DJ Toshi's latest, engineering The Milkman and DUME. He recorded and/or toured with a long list of solo artists: Dale James, Eugene Pao, Roy Hargrove, Eric Lewis, Ted Lo Allen Youngblood, Jan Arden, Emre Unal, Steve Hunter, Roberto Zayas, Zhong Jhung Li, Mark Spencer, Mark Issacs, Joe Rosenberg M.S. Manian, Marcia Seebaran, Nils Landgren, Joey Yung, Sammi Cheng and Donnie Sterling. He is first call drummer for tours with DJs and prestigious fashion shows and has composed and recorded a wide variety of commercial jingles. He has recorded with Z-Men, Vi Vi Grande, Ben Eyler, Elaine Liu, Sammi Cheng, Joey Yung, Mike Clark. As well as with Marcia Seebaran, Chishti, Viking, Joe Rosenberg, and Narrow Escape all of whom are on Robbin's own record label Deep Down Records. He is currently residing in Hong Kong and available for live performances, recordings & clinics: including innovative projects that "step outside the box".
