Ruf Records: a double CD set compiled by Sue Foley: 29 guitar players from Memphis Minnie and Precious Bryant to Beverley Guitar Watkins, Rory Block, and Joanna Connor, including Sue Foley herself. Vanguard Records: compiled by Patty Larkin, it includes mostly instrumentals by 14 women guitarists; Kaki King, Jennifer Batten, Elizabeth Cotton, Muriel Anderson, Vicki Genfan to name a few. Patty is also on the album. My cut is Sidu originally on Spontaneous Combustion. More info at LaGuitara |
